How I met one of my cousins?

Years ago,

I used to deal in wears, a friend patronised me and I was supposed to do delivery.

When I got to her house, she was cooking a meal I was not familiar with so, I waited and learnt it. She told me she learnt baking too, I said I would be interested in knowing the basics at least. Thereafter, we scheduled a meeting for me. Prior to that, she told me she came around because of her friend's wedding(temporal stay, about a week). That same day we scheduled for baking was the bridal shower of her friend. She then planned to give the cupcakes we did at the party.

After the day's work, we decided to branch at her friend's (the bride) place. When we got there, I saw my dad; I was shocked,

Dad: what are you doing here?

Me: I came with my friend. What are you doing here?

Dad: This is your cousin I was telling you about that will be having her wedding the following day.

Me: wow! (I told my friend to meet my dad)

Friend: Ekaasan sir (kneels down)

Dad: (replies)

Then we entered the house, I was introduced to the bride, trust me when I say she's beautiful. She was shocked when she heard we're family; that's how I met my cousin two days to her wedding just by following a friend to visit a friend.

Note: thanks to my stars that I'm not omo buruku (bad shaid😜), that's how my cover would have blown.

Since childhood, words like nephew, niece, cousin, aunt, uncle and so on is not in our choice of words because everything we do circles around parents and sibling.

Na so I almost hit on my cousin when we went for another cousin's wedding.

I've actually had weird experience with extended family.
